A regular fit open collar shirt in a featherweight Jamdhani handloom.
Jamdhani is a discontinuous weft technique of weaving, and can be defined as the art of fine ‘Parsi Gara’ done on the loom. In Jamdhani, motifs are inlaid into the fabric by adding a denser thread to warp threads by hand. This technique is extremely difficult and time consuming involving extremely skilled textile artistry.

More from KARDO
KARDO honours traditional weaving, dying and printing techniques in India for their collections, using fabrics such as Natural Dyed Handloom, Block Printing, IKAT, Natural Indigo Denim, Shibori and Chikankari embroidery. We actively support and collaborate with handloom weaving communities throughout India in the hope that these traditional techniques don’t die out and our impact on the environment is as low as possible. We take this one step further by our specialized ‘ONExONE’ production of our clothing where each item is hand-cut, sewn by a single tailor from beginning to end and carefully hand-finished.
