Fishtail started with a simple idea, to create the perfect beanie, not just for winter, but as an everyday essential you can wear outside all year, by the coast and in town.

Growing up and living in Norway you naturally develop a strong relationship to beanies. The cold and harsh weather dominates most of the country for several months each year, therefore beanies become a necessity. With my love and respect for beanies as an essential piece in my wardrobe, I created Fishtail.

The beanies are made with lots of admiration for the high quality of materials and craftsmanship you find in Europe’s most respected mills with great attention to detail and responsible materials.

Our Shaggy Beanie is crafted and brushed in Scotland from 100% lambswool. Soft, warm, and full of character. The Marina Beanie is produced in Italy using a superfine blend of merino wool for a smooth, luxurious feel.
